Shuttles to SYSTOR Site

SYSTOR has arranged special rates for conference participants at several area hotels.  

The hotels listed below are located in the center of Haifa, about a 20-minute drive by taxi from IBM. A shuttle service will be offered from the hotels to IBM and back during all three days of the conference. Further details will be published from time to time, so please visit this web site frequently for more information.

Hotel Dan Carmel Haifa
A block of rooms has been set aside for our group under the name SYSTOR 2009 IBM at a rate of $146 for superior rooms and $170 for deluxe rooms (Bed and Breakfast). There is a $45 charge for an additional person in a room.

Hotel Crowne Plaza Haifa
A block of rooms has been set aside for our group under the name SYSTOR 2009 IBM at a rate of $135 for deluxe rooms (Bed and Breakfast). There is a $30 charge for an additional person in a room.

However you contact the hotel of your choice, please indicate the name of the conference SYSTOR 2009 IBM when you make your reservation. The cut-off date for holding this block is April 15, 2009, so participants are encouraged to book early. After this date, reservations will be on the basis of availability, but you'll still be entitled to the special rate.

Proceedings Publication
